Immigration Act 2003 (Commencement) Order 2003

I, Michael McDowell TD, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13(2) of the Immigration Act 2003 ( No. 26 of 2003 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration Act 2003 (Commencement) Order 2003.

2. The 19th day of September 2003 is fixed as the day on which the Immigration Act 2003 ( No. 26 of 2003 ) (other than sections 7 and 8 of that Act) shall come into operation.

This Order commences the Immigration Act 2003 (other than sections 7 and 8 of that Act) with effect from 19 September 2003.
