The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment[1], in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 30(1)(b) of the Industrial Development (Northern Ireland) Order 1982[2], and of every other power enabling it in that behalf and with the consent of the Department of Finance and Personnel, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.
This Order may be cited as the Air Route Development (Northern Ireland) Limited (Funding) Order (Northern Ireland) 2003 and shall come into operation on 22nd October 2003.
Purpose
2.
Air Route Development (Northern Ireland) Limited is hereby specified as a body to which the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment may make grants under paragraph (1)(b) of Article 30 of the Industrial Development (Northern Ireland) Order 1982.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order.)
Article 30 of the Industrial Development (Northern Ireland) Order 1982 enables the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment to make grants to a body or person which it may specify, for the purpose of enabling that body or person to stimulate or assist industrial enterprise, the development of industry or the provision of employment.
This Order specifies Air Route Development (Northern Ireland) Limited as a body which may receive such grants.
Air Route Development (Northern Ireland) Limited is a company limited by guarantee which was formed on 30th July 2003.
