The Primary Care Trusts (Establishment) (Amendment No.2) Order 2004

  Made 19th May 2004 
  Coming into force 31st May 2004 

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 16A(1), (2) and (3) and 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and application
     1.  - (1) This Order may be cited as the Primary Care Trusts (Establishment) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 31st May 2004.

    (2) This Order applies to England.

Amendment of Primary Care Trust Establishment Orders
    
2. The Schedule (area of trust) to each of the Primary Care Trust Establishment Orders listed in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order shall be amended as specified in the corresponding entry in column 2.

North Sheffield Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/131) For the entire entry for the city of Sheffield substitute - 

" In the city of Sheffield - 

the electoral wards of Burngreave, East Ecclesfield, Firth Park, Shiregreen and Brightside, Southey, West Ecclesfield.".

Sheffield South West Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/183) For the entire entry for the city of Sheffield substitute - 

" In the city of Sheffield - 

the electoral wards of Beauchief and Greenhill, Dore and Totley, Eccleshall, Fulwood, Graves Park, Nether Edge.".

Sheffield West Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/182) For the entire entry for the city of Sheffield substitute - 

" In the city of Sheffield - 

the electoral wards of Broomhill, Central, Crookes, Hillsborough, Stannington, Stocksbridge and Upper Don, Walkley.".

South East Sheffield Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/184) For the entire entry for the city of Sheffield substitute - 

" In the city of Sheffield - 

the electoral wards of Arbourthorne, Beighton, Birley, Darnall, Gleadless Valley, Manor Castle, Mosborough, Richmond, Woodhouse.".




EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends the areas of the Primary Care Trusts listed in the Schedule to reflect a re-organisation of the electoral wards in the city of Sheffield.
